FastTree
Approximate maximum-likelihood trees for large alignments
FastTree infers approximate maximum-likelihood phylogenetic trees from large alignments in minutes using heuristic NNI and SPR moves. Accuracy approaches standard ML methods at a fraction of the runtime. Practical for thousands of sequences where full ML inference is infeasible.
FastTree is live on MolPilot — paste a sequence and press Fold.
